Cyndie and I are finishing up this month our 51st year of full-time missions. We are still under full appointment as missionaries with AGWM, the Assemblies of God World Missions and serving with Global University under the International Ministries branch of AGWM. As you know, Cyndie is an ordained minister of the SCHD. Don is ordained with the North Texas District.
More than ever, missionary work involves the training of national pastors and ministers so that they, in turn, can take the Gospel in the power of the Spirit to places that the missionary could never go! Although many missionaries are still sent to the unreached people of the world, it is the exception that a country does not already have a national Pentecostal church. What they need is pastors trained in the Bible and Filled with the Holy Spirit to train disciples and conserve the abundant harvest.
Global University is training ministers for this great harvest of the Last Days in 137 languages, 166 countries, and 225 national offices.
We have counted it a privilege to serve the Lord in the harvest field for so many years and we are still going strong. We continue to ask the Lord for good health and strength so that we will be equal to the incredible opportunities that have opened up to us. We thank all of you who have been so faithful and generous in your support. Our support has waned somewhat as many of our peers have passed on to their eternal reward. Yet we realize that this journey has always been and always will be one of faith. God is faithful!
Our passion continues to be to see the Church return to a new Pentecost with the life-changing Gospel being preached and confirmed with miracles, signs & wonders. May God bless you abundantly for your participation in this missionary effort!
