We spent a very blessed time with pastors Peter & María Thornton in their church Templo Getsemaní in Eldorado, Texas. They put us up for two nights in their evangelist quarters in their church. Thank God for air conditioning since we were in the full heat of summer with temperatures well over 100 degrees F.
Went traveled down to Ozona, Texas, to Templo Sinaí church Sunday morning and later returned to Eldorado for the evening missionary service. Once again we greatly enjoyed the fellowship with the brothers and sisters at church. This church has been one that has faithfully supported us with their monthly missionary offerings for many years. They gave an incredible missionary offering for our ministry ($1,000 to the glory of God!), by far the largest offering which we have received in these last couple of months of itinerary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Even more precious (if that’s possible) was the time that we spend together with our wonderful friends, the Thorntons. We shared testimonies and anecdote, both humorous and serious, until very late at night. It was sad to have to leave, but we left very blessed and inspired!
