Much traveling on the roads & highways, many late-nighters and some all-nighters call for a faithful helper: Starbucks “doubleshot” energy & coffee drink. Reports, calendars, scheduling, confirming, follow-up, telephoning, writing, preparing, preaching, services, “windows” & keyholes, cell groups, personal interviews, lunch appointments, more reports – mileage, itineration, financial/offerings & expenses – someone commented on the missionary ministry = 99% persperation and 1% inspiration. We love sharing the inspiration, vision-casting!
Actually, we really do enjoy itinerary. Being with the pastors & people, sharing our hearts, praying for the needs & sharing the burdens of our home base churches. Ministering the Word and sharing our passion for the lost. We do not consider this just a parenthetical period between ministries, rather a vital part of the missionary ministry. We pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to use us to help churches in vision-casting and helping in any way that we can to encourage the Church to return to the fundamental, especially the dynamic activity of the Holy Spirit in our congregations, living in holiness and led by the Spirit!
We are thrilled to be able to renew friendship with pastors & friends in our churches, meeting pastors and people in new churches – all the while, though, we are strongly pulled by our desire to get back to Spain and our missionary ministry there.
