A big “shout out” to the Lufkin Section of the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. It happened during the Fall Tour 2016 of the NTD. It happened at the Clawson Assembly of God on Highway 69 in Pollok, Texas. The Lufkin Section is in the Southeast Region of the NTD. After the missions banquet at noon all 25 missionary units who were on tour with the District were invited to go to the auditorium where the Lufkin Section was to have their business meeting. To the amazement and wonderful delight of all of us missionaries present, the Lufkin Section gave each one of us a $1,000.00 check for our ministries & expenses! WOW! This had never happened in any section in the 44 years that Cyndie and I have been foreign missionaries with North Texas. THANK YOU Lufkin Section, from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity and expression of love & appreciation deeply moved us. God bless each one of the pastors and churches who cooperated and gave in order to make this possible.
Un “grito de gracias” a la Sección de Lufkin del distrito de North Texas de las Asambleas de Dios. Tuvo lugar en la iglesia Clawson Assembly of God en la US 69 en Pollok, Texas. The Lufkin Section está en la Southeast Region del NTD. Después del banquete de misiones al mediodía, todos las 25 unidades de misioneros siguiendo el Tour del Otoño del NTD fuimos invitados a pasar al auditorio donde la Sección de Lufkin iba celebrar su sesión de negocios. Para el placentero asombro y agradable sorpresa de cada misionero presente, la Sección de Lufkin nos presentó a cada uno de nosotros un cheque para $1.000 para nuestros ministerios y para ayudar cubrir nuestros gastos! WOW! Es la primera vez que hemos visto esto en los 44 años que Cyndie y yo llevamos como misioneros foráneos. GRACIAS, Sección de Lufkin, de lo más hondo de nuestros corazones. Su generosidad y expresión de amor y gratitud nos ha tocado profundamente. Que Dios bendiga a cada uno de los pastores e iglesias que han colaborado para hacer posible este gesto singular!
