We spent a wonderful day with Pastor Josh Lee and the congregation of Cornerstone A/G in Atlanta, Texas. It was exciting to be able to preach on a Sunday which combined both the Memorial Day weekend and the Day of Pentecost. What a joy and a privilege to be able to link the Master’s mandate of missions to the power and purpose of Pentecost. It had been over 16 years since we last ministered here and the church has experienced many changes. It is great to see the work which God is doing once again in Atlanta. We welcome Cornerstone A/G back to our team of supporting churches and praise God for the Spirit which we felt in both services and the wonderful time of sharing as we both heard and gave witness to what we have seen with testimonies of modern-day miracles of the crippled walking and the dead being brought back to life! Praise God that the the Holy Spirit poured out on the Day of Pentecost is still alive and active in the Church today confirming the Word of God with signs and wonders following. It is only in the power of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled and empowered to fulfill the Great Commission here and abroad. Thank you Pastor Josh for your great heart, your hospitality, and your shared burden and vision for the church to return to the fundamentals of the faith – the Word of God, the Christian walk of faith in the power of the Spirit, the indispensable role of intercessory prayer and a life of total commitment to the cause of Christ. We are trusting in God with you and your congregation for a continued move of God and a wonderful harvest of souls.
P.S. My apologies – I inadvertently posted the pastor’s name as Josh Smith instead of Josh Lee. 🙂
