Grace Community, Flower Mound

Cell Group from Grace Community Church, Flower Mound, Texas

Sunday, February 26th p.m.:  We rejoiced at the marvelous opportunity to share with one of the Sunday p.m. cell groups from Grace Community Church in Flower Mound, Texas. This was a part of their annual Missions Convention. Superintendent Rick Dubose preached in the a.m. worship service and we are told that it was a powerful message from the Word of God on Missions. We were among a number of missionaries which the church supports who were divided up in order to minister and share our heart for missions with various cell groups from the church which meet on Sunday evenings. As the Lord would have it, we got the best group of them all!!!  🙂

We are really excited to have such an anointed group of dedicated, mature adults interceding before the Throne Room of God on behalf of souls in Spain and our missionary ministry there. We also pledged to have our church in Spain pray for them as a church as they do battle for the Kingdom of God on the home battle front.WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

They treated us royally from the first minute to the last, fellowshipping, loving on us, listening as we shared our hearts, and praying for us individually and corporately with Spirit-led prayer. We were greatly edified. The group has some wonderful cooks (an advantage of age & experience) and they shared a pot-luck which was delicious. Thank you Covenant Community Church for your prayers, your faithful support and your generosity. It will not be forgotten.

Central Assembly of God – Arlington Texas

 Central Assembly, Arlington Texas

We experienced a wonderful sense of the presence of God in our Sunday morning (Feb. 19th) Missions service with Pastor Ken Jones and his wife at Central Assembly of God in Arlington, Texas. The people responded to the need of the lost in Spain and our missionary ministry and gave sacrificially. Thank you Central Assembly. We had not been with Pastor Jones since he pastored at First Assembly in Cleburne, TX. We enjoyed the fellowship with the pastors and former pastors after church. We had to travel to Sweetwater, TX, by 6 p.m. in order to start revival services. (We made it in time.) Sorry I couldn’t post this earlier or get a photo of the pastors. We love these valiant warriors of the cross who have been so faithful. Appreciate their support over the years.

Missions/Revival services, Sweetwater

We want to sincerely thank Pastors Wayne and Patricia Kirk and all the wonderful people of First Assembly of God of Sweetwater, Texas, for their wonderful hospitality & generosity
and for making us feel so loved while we were with them this week. We once again experienced a wonderful, sweet presence of the Lord in our midst. We will now be traveling back to Waxahachie but we appreciate the invitation from so many to continue in Revival services the rest of the week. We felt really blessed to be able to do this in the middle of our missionary itinerary. Personally happy to miss the annual rattlesnake roundup that’s coming up.

Living Word A/G – Alvord, Texas

Wednesday evening, February 15th, Alvord, Texas.

It was a delight to be able be with Pastor Phil Weitner and Stephanie for a Missionary/Valentine’s Banquet at Living Word A/G. The newly formed Missionettes and sponsors did a beautiful job in decorating the auditorium turned banquet room. We were impressed by the church facilities, but most of all blessed by the wonderful people who attended and fellowshipped.

Missions and Valentine’s?? you might ask. YES.  Makes perfect sense. “For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE…” “God demonstrates His own  love  toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Missions is all about sharing that love of God with a lost and dying world! Without God’s love we would not be able to

Thank you Living Word for your hospitality and a chance to share what the love of God is doing in the most remote areas of the world and every continent. Thanks for your pledge of financial support. Jesus is Coming soon!!!

1st Assembly of God, Crowley, Texas

Last Sunday evening (Feb. 10th) we enjoyed ministering to the wonderful people of First Assembly of God in Crowley, Texas. Pastor Al Crane and his wife have personally supported our ministry for many years. Also, Mel & Linda Surface, who are now serving on the ministerial staff at First Assembly have faithfully supported our ministry for years. Wonderful congregation and presence of the Lord singing some of the old hymns along with the new. Cyndie was able to speak to the young people as I shared our heart and ministry in the main service. We are truly excited to see how the church is supporting missionaries all over the world. We are eager to become part of the team! At the end of the service we were prayed for by the missions committee members and presented a beautiful certificate with a pledge to uphold us and our ministry in prayer on a consistent basis – Wow! First time in 40 years of missionary ministry that a church has ever done that for us. (Also a gift certificate for Outback Steakhouse.)

After church, as we were eating with the pastor and some of the staff really large flakes began to fall as it started to snow – a beautiful sight after a beautiful service. Thanks for your prayers and support.
